Odd Future front man Tyler, The Creator finally gives his oft delayed ‘Wolf’ album an official release date, along with announcing a tour to promote the project.
We were hoping to get Tyler, The Creator’s follow up to ‘Wolf’ in 2012, and of course that never quite came to fruition. The good news is that Tyler has announced that we will be receiving the project this coming April.
Tyler also went to express his nervousness in releasing the new project stating, “I ALWAYS THINK WHAT IF EVERYONE HATES IT AND IM A FAILURE COME NEXT YEAR. SO TO KTT AND ALL THE OF FANS I LUB U.”
In addition to announcing the April 2nd release date, Tyler, The Creator also went on to reveal three separate album covers for the project as well. The deluxe version of the album features art by Los Angeles based Pop Surrealist, Mark Ryden and showcases are cartoon version of Tyler sitting on his bicycle near a one-eyed tree.
Tyler kept the news coming, unveiling the official dates for his corresponding ‘Wolf’ tour kicking off this March in Ohio. Tyler will tour for about a month before wrapping the tour up at the Hawthorne Theatre in Portland, Oregon.
